Jamecia TaTyana "MiMi" Darden, of Rockford departed this earthly life May 25, 2024. She was born March 3, 1994 in Racine, WI the daughter of Monica Moore and Jerry Darden. Jamecia lived in Rockford since 1997 coming from Kenosha, WI. She was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant by OSF St. Anthony Medical Center over 2 years.  Jamecia attended Guilford High School, ACE, later to graduate from Roosevelt Alternative School and Tricoci University of Beauty Culture and C.N.A. certification at Rockford Career College.

Jamecia leaves to cherish many loving memories, her daughter, Au'Drionah Moore; her mother, Monica Moore; two sisters, Jahliyya Moore and Janiyah Nix;  brothers,  Jaziah Lowery and Jamori Nix; maternal grandparents; Jean Moore and William Thomas; one niece, Alayya Moore; three nephews, August Lowery, Azariah Lowery and Real Hayes; a host of other nieces, nephews,  aunts, uncles, cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Jerry Darden; bonus grandpa, William Garrett; and cousin, Jamerion Alexander-Boose.

Services will be held 5:00 p.m. Friday June 7, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service
