Ja’quaris Jamal Joseph Maxwell Eubanks, of Rockford departed this earthly life October 5, 2026. He was born February 16, 2004 in Rockford the son of Joseph Maxwell and Vatitsa Eubanks. Ja’quaris was a member of Progressive Baptist Church, where he was active in Sunday School. He attended Auburn High School and Patriots Gateway Center. Ja’quaris was a loving father, and brother. He was funny, loved playing basketball, football and eating caramel cake.

Ja’quaris leaves to cherish many loving memories, his children, Jalevione and Jalexiona Eubanks; parents, Joseph Maxwell and Vatitsa Eubanks; siblings, Xy’Airiah Eubanks McLin, Za’nyeaih Eubanks, Ja’cier Eubanks, Prince Romelo’ Eubanks, King Romero’ Eubanks and Se’Yvvne Royale Eubanks; maternal grandparents, Francine Spears and Marlin Paige a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his sister, Miracle Eubanks.

Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 19, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
