Jason J. "Goldie"  "Rashid" Davis of Rockford departed this earthly life April 20, 2026. He was born May 5, 1978 in Chicago, IL the son of  Henry and Connie Davis. Jason lived most of his life in Rockford, living 20 years in Atlanta with his father. He was employed as a supervisor by PCI four years before recently being employed by Hennig Inc. Jason practiced the Muslim Faith.  Jason attended Freeport High School and Schools in Atlanta, later to receive his GED.

Jason leaves to cherish many loving memories, his parents, Connie Davis and Henry (Connie) Davis; sister Felicia (Calvin Brewer) Davis; four nieces, Mia, Olivia, Mila and Zeola; and nephew Calvin (Sarah); paternal grandmother, Atlene Davis; a host of other relatives and friends including special friend, Shontell Whitfield and god daughter Mila Ivy. He was predeceased by his sister Atlene Davis; maternal grandparents, John and Felicia Pryor; paternal grandfather Henry Davis Jr.

Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m.  Until 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
