Jason Javari "Lil man" Jenkins, of Rockford departed this earthly life, March 24, 2024. He was born December 1, 2005 in Rockford, IL the son of Nila Jenkins. Jason was employed as a stocker. He was a member of Christian Union Full Gospel Ministries, serving on the Mime Team and made himself available to help where ever he could. Jason attended Auburn High School, in his Senior Year,  preparing to graduate this spring. He participated in Football at Booker Washington Community Center, with the Panthers, Browns and Jets.

Jason leaves to cherish many fun and loving memories, his mother, Nila  Jenkins (Frederick LeFlore) ; several brothers and sisters including, brothers, twin, Jasper Jenkins; Cordell Jenkins, Ronald Jenkins, Natis Howell and Anthony Jenkins; sisters, Shahara Franklin, Marilyn Jenkins, Arianna LeFlore, Jimmica LeFlore, and Amanda Thurman;  god sister, LeAnn King; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends including special nephew, Patrick Dubose; and special friend, Britni Wilson.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 6, 2024 at Christian Union Full Gospel Ministries 1705 Kilburn Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, April 5, 2024 2:00p.m. until 6:00p.m. at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. and at the Church Saturday 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
