Javon Deontae 'Von" Nolan, of Rockford departed this earthly life April 27, 2022. He was born January 7, 1991 in Rockford the son of Teresa Nolan and Marlon Friar Sr. Javon was employed as a machine operator by Speedy Metals. He graduated from Auburn High School.

Javon leaves to cherish many loving memories, son, Javon Nolan Jr; three daughters, Janya, Saniya and Jayda Nolan; parents, Teresa (Antonio Lee) Nolan and Marlon (Tonya) Friar Sr., four sisters, Jasmine Woods, Lashayla, Unique and Iceis Friar; six brothers, Ricky Woods, Dasani, Marquest, Nicco and Marlon Friar Jr., and Stephan Harris; paternal grandmother, Ethel Fort; maternal grandfather, Daniel Hughes; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles other relatives and friends including godmother, April Lambert. He was predeceased by his maternal grandmother, Sandra Hughes and paternal grandfather, Nate Fort.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Greater Great New Fellowship C.O.G.I.C. 2610 S. 5th Street. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
