Jeffrey E. Foote, of Rockford departed this earthly life February 6, 2023. He was born June 22, 1963 in Rockford the son of James and Loubertha Foote. Jeffrey married the former Brenda Beard, September 5, 1995. He was employed as a Courier by Swedish American Hospital over 30 years, before retiring in 2021. Jeffrey graduated from Auburn High School class of 1981.

Jeffrey leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife Brenda; brother Melvin P. Foote; three sisters, Gwen Robinson, Elaine Mitchell and Maria Johnson; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including special friends, Barry Washington, Jimmy Francis and Tom Montgomery. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother James Foote Jr:

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
