Jerrisha C. "Jerri" Goodwin of Rockford departed this earthly life October 4, 2021. She was born October 19, 1982 in Rockford the daughter of Marquetta Goodwin and Jerry L. Parker. Jerrisha was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant by the Rockford Board of Education and as a traveling C.N.A. She graduated from East High School class of 2001 later to attend Rockford Career College.

Jerrisha leaves to cherish many loving memories, two sons, Leland Smith Jr. and J Adore Goodwin; father Jerry L. Parker; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother Marquetta; brother Curtis Goodwin. Jerrisha have with her, her daughter Allani Henry.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Providence Baptist Church 2209 Clifton Ave.  Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
