Jessica Ann Powell-Holt of Rockford departed this earthly life March 16, 2023. She was born July 13, 1988 in Rockford the daughter of Larry Powell and Victoria Powell. She married Tyrese Holt February 26, 2021. Jessica graduated from Jefferson High School.

Jessica leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband Tyrese; daughter Paris Powell; step children, Tay'vion Armstrong, Jai'shaun Holt and Jayquan Martell; siblings, Jasmine (Phillip) Horton, Daeshawn (Sallie) Powell, Tyler Powell and Larry Jones;  maternal grand parents, Anna Hughes and Frank Hughes; aunt, Tiffany Hughes; and uncles Corey (Marshell) Hughes and Raymond Taylor; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and paternal grandparents, Johnnie Mae Taylor and J.T. Gadison and maternal grandfather Ivory Owens.

Memorial services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 31, 2023 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N Johnston Ave. Doors will be open from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
