Joannie S. Wilson-Will, of Rockford departed this earthly life November 14, 2024. She was born March 23, 1954 in Rockford the daughter of Leslie and Mamie Wilson. Joannie married Ronald Taylor, September 26, 2020. She was employed 50 years as a Warehouse Manager by Excelsior Inc. Joannie was a member of Greater Faith Empowerment Center, serving as a usher and serving committee. She graduated from West High School.

Joannie leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband Ronald; daughter, Rashanda Will; two sons, Terry (Sheona) Wilson and Jerry (Nashica) Wilson; six grandchildren, Amor, Prince, Jerlissa, Rasheed, Aaliyah and Aria; brother, Graylin Wisdom; god daughters, Tiffany Wilkerson, Tamara Smith and Tiara Pandy; god son, Thomas Gaston; many other special people, including special friends,  Wanda Smith, Carolyn McBride, Aunt Sug, Tamy and Rick Taylor, Ms. Maybelline;  special nephew/son Anthony (Trista) Wilson a host of other relatives and friends including most of Rockford.

Memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. December 7, 2024 at Providence Baptist Church 2209 Clifton Ave. Doors will be open from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
