Johnnetta Daneem Richardson of Rockford departed this earthly life March 15, 2022. She was born October 31, 1970 in E. St. Louis, IL the daughter of Alfonzo Johnson and Sherry Gillespie. Johnnetta lived in Rockford since 1976 coming from E. St. Louis. She was formerly married to Andre Richardson Sr., of this union four sons were born. She was employed as a certified Nurses Assistant by Walter Lawson Children's Home and several local nursing homes. Johnnetta was a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. She attended West High School later to receive her G.E.D.

Johnnetta leaves to cherish many loving memories, four sons, Andre Richardson Jr.,  Melvin Richardson, Deandre Richardson and Deangelo Richardson; 20 grandchildren; two sisters, Tundra Loveless and Laronda (Jerry) Gulley; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including best friend, Demiria Gillespie and favorite cousins, Jaqueline Lofton and Karen Moore; special nieces, Camille Tripp and Sherri Tayor and special nephew, Demargio Tripp. She was predeceased by her parents, Alfonzo Johnson and Sherry Loveless.

Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday March 27, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.  Visitation will be held 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
