Ka'Harii Dior Friar, 1, of Rockford departed this earthly life January 5, 2022. She was born November 24, 2020 in Rockford the daughter of Deondre Friar and Lyntina Sockwell.

Ka'Harii leaves to cherish her short visit hear, her parents, Lyntina Sockwell and Deondre Friar; maternal grandparents, Tiffany Tripplett and Antonio Sockwell; paternal grandparents, Tamara Smith and Katonka Friar; maternal great grandparents, Deborah and Luther Crumbley; paternal great grandparents, Wanda Smith and Thomas Gaston Sr.; maternal great great grandmother, VeElla Hughes; a host of aunts, uncles cousins and friends.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 17, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
