Kerwin Edward May, of Rockford departed this earthly life July 28, 2021. He was born May 4, 1994 in Rockford the son of Kerwin N. and Angela May. Kerwin was employed as a security guard 5 years. He was a member of West Side Church of Christ. He graduated from Auburn High School. Kerwin wrestled while in middle school at Boylan.

Kerwin leaves to cherish many loving memoires, his parents, Angela (Douglas Galor) May and Kerwin N. May; two sisters, Nikiya (John) Thames and Anastasia May; brother, Jova (April) May; 4 nieces, Jamisen, Bria,  Jada and Bria; maternal grandmother, Rosie Dean; a host of other relatives and friends including his girlfriend Ariel Lee and her children, Jakim, Autumn, Brendan and Christian.

Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday, August 7, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
