Kim W. Doss of Rockford departed this earthly life August 5, 2022. She was born January 25, 1959 in Rockford the daughter of Willie and Mattie Doss. Kim was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant by Swedish American Hospital 23 years, before becoming ill. She graduated from Auburn High School class of 1977.

Kim leaves to cherish many loving memories, three sisters, Mary Cross, Patricia Doss and Michelle (Eddie) Straight; two brothers, Steve Harris and Willie (Summer) Doss; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including special niece Tiffany (Antoine) Derrick; god sister, Leona Streeter; three godchildren, Tyress Cunningham, Deja and Destani Byirt. She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Icylee Brown and father, Smitty Rigsby.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m.  Monday, August 15, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N Johnston Ave. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
