Kim Tolbert of Rockford departed this earthly life February 20, 2022. She was born February 3, 1963, in Gary, Indiana the daughter Willie and Rosalee Harris. Kim lived 20 years in Rockford coming from Indiana. She married Levones Tolbert December 3, 2003, he preceded her in death. Kim was employed as a lunch aid by the Rockford School District 205 many years before retiring. She was a former member of Progressive Missionary Baptist Church. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Gary.

Kim leaves to cherish many loving memories, two sons, Michael Reese and Joe Harris; mother, Rosalee Harris; sisters, Angela Tate and Sharon (Kelvin) Bryant; brothers, Craig Ayers and Ronald Harris; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, and father.

Services will be held 4:00 p.m. Saturday March 5, 2022, at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service.
