Lavontay Anthony Allen, of Rockford departed this earthly life, December 27,2016. He was born March 28, 2001 in Rockford the son of Jaton Watts and Fredrick Allen. Lavontay was a member of Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Auburn High School where he participated in Football and Basketball.
Lavontay, leaves to cherish many memories, his mother, Jaton Watts; step father, Demetrius Booker; two brothers, Logan Mueller and Jermaine Francis; sister, Fantasia Allen; maternal grandmother Newana Watts; paternal grandfather Fred and Jessie Allen a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father.
Service will be held 12:00 noon Friday, January 6, 2017 at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church 404 N. Avon Street. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home 2429 W. State St.
