Lee Jefferson "Jeff" Lambert of Rockford departed this earthly life August 11, 2021. He was born December 5, 1951 in Bearden Arkansas the son of Leolen and Arma Jean Lambert. Jeff lived most of his life in Rockford coming from Arkansas. He married the former Cheryl Redding, April 19, 2009.

Jeff was employed by Cliff Breakers over 27 years before retiring. Jeff was a member of Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church. He graduated from Auburn High School. One of his passions was to listen to "old school" music and dance until his feet hurt. He was very kind and loved his family so much.

Jeff leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife, Cheryl; daughter, Synthia Lambert; granddaughter, Laila Graves; four sisters, Margie Little, Erma Joe, Janice George, and Doris Lambert; five brothers, William Gilmore, Charles, Claudis, Kenneth, and James Lambert; a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends, including special friend, Lee Reynolds.

He was predeceased by his parents, two brothers, Leolen Lambert Jr. and Tyrone Lambert; nephew Tyree Little.

Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
