Lena Mae Starnes-Webb of Rockford departed this earthly life January 29, 2024. She was born September 26, 1963 of Chicago, IL the daughter of Johnny and Dorothy Eubanks. Lena lived in Rockford since 1971 coming from Chicago. She married Allen Webb, December 22, 1997 in Rockford. Lena was employed as a patient assistant many years by Help At Home and last employed as a laborer by Amazon.  She graduated from West High School and attended Rock Valley College.

Lena leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband, Allen Webb; daughter, Stephanie Winfield; three sisters, Pearline Starnes, Brenda Joseph and Johnnie Mae (Daniel) Curtis;  four brothers, Robert Starnes, Allen Russell Starnes, Larry Starnes and Leroy Starnes; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
