Littie Mae "Newt" Tolefree, of Rockford departed this earthly life February 7, 2025. She was born March 10, 1932 in Byhalia, MS the daughter Maudina and Joe Tennial. Littie lived in Rockford since 1959 coming Byhalia. She married Leon Tolefree Sr., he preceded her in death. Littie was employed by Atwood Mobile and was a child care provider many years. She was a member of West Side Church of Christ, where she attended until her health begin to fail. She attended schools in Byhalia.

Littie leaves to cherish many loving memories, her son, Leon (Bobbie) Tolefree Jr; and daughter Louise Conrad; 15 grandchildren; 46 great grandchildren; brother in law James Tolefree; sister in law, Christine King; and daughter in law, Dorothy Brunson a host of other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her husband; parents; two sons, Billy Joe Brunson and Raymond Earl Tolefree and daughter Mary Nell Clark; sister Rosie Dean; and brothers T.C., Amos and Oneal Tennial.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2025 at West Side Church of Christ 1523 Morgan  Street. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
