Lorie Ann Phillips of Rockford departed this earthly life March 19, 2023. She was born January 11, 1961 in Charleston, Missouri the daughter of Jessie and Ruth Phillips. Lorie lived in Rockford most of her life coming from Cairo, IL. She was employed as a cook various restaurants. Lorie was a member of a Alley Dart League. She graduated from West High School class of 1979.

Lorie leaves to cherish many loving memories, daughter, Tanisha (Toby) Brewer; three grandchildren, Alexis, Tomarius and Tanajianna Brewer; two great grandchildren, Jayden and Olivia Phillips; two sisters, Sherry and Susan Phillips; four brothers, Jerry, Leroy, Gregory (Tina) and Steven Phillips; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Carla and Aneater Phillips; two brothers Jessie and Donald Phillips.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 29, 2023 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
