Luada “Doll Baby” Jackson-Rouse, of Rockford departed this earthly life Saturday, July 25, 2026. She was born September 1, 1939 in Shaw, MS the daughter of Johnny and Jessie Mae Jackson. Luada lived in Rockford since 1968 coming from Shaw, MS. She was employed as a stocker by Family Dollar over 15 years before retiring. Luada was of the Jehovah's Witness Faith. She attended school in Mississippi.

Luada leaves to cherish many fun loving memories, her special cousin, Daniel (Veronica) Canon; a host of other relatives and friends She was predeceased by her sisters Johnnie Mae Kincade, Martha Jackson, Charlestine Brandy and Emma Jackson; and brothers Alonzo, Kenny, Lionel, Ronnie and Bobby Jackson;

Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 7, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Doors open from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
