Luchen "Big Wook" Hues III, of Rockford departed this earthly life July 1, 2022. He was born June 4, 1981 in Rockford the son of  Luchen Hues Jr. and Christine Hues. Luchen married the former Jessica Brown. He was self-employed as a motor bike manufacturer at Hustle Boy Custom Bikes. Luchen was a member of Love of Christ Ministry. He attended Auburn High School.

Luchen leaves to cherish many memories, his wife Jessica; three sons, Jordan Thomas, Deszreeon Hues and Luchen Hues IV; and daughter, Fantasia Cole; two grandchildren; mother, Christine Hues; sister, Tijuana (Augustus) Davis; brother, Antoine Glass; god sister, Carla Raynor; and god doughtier, Starkesha Young; a host of other relative and friends. He was predeceased by father.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Thursday, July 14, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N Johnston Ave. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
