Lyner Lucille Jones, of Rockford departed this earthly life August 3, 2021. She was born September 24, 1963 in Memphis, TN the daughter of Daisy Lee Jones. Lucille lived in Rockford 57 years coming from Hickory Valley, TN.  She was a member of New Zion Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Beloit High School.

Lyner leaves to cherish many loving memories,  her companion of many years, John Billings; son, Perry (Vanessa) Jones; three daughters, Terry, Latoya and Laquilla Jones; 19 grandchildren 3 great grandchildren; two brothers, Darrell Obannon and Jerry (Betty) Jones; sister, Linda Jones; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her mother, brother, Robert D. Obannon; and sister, Barbra Ann Woods.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Monday, August 16, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from   10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
