Lynn Lynnel Thomas, of Rockford, departed this earthly life June 14, 2024. He was born March 3, 1965 the son of Earl Sr. and Lelar Mae Thomas in Freeport, IL.  He married Joann Tate in 1997. Lynn attended Schools in Freeport, IL.

Lynn Leaves to cherish many loving memories, his children; Latoyia Tate, Latosha Tate, Antwon Tate, and Anquan Tate; 22 grandchildren; brothers; Earl Thomas Jr, Calvin Thomas, Jamie Ellis; sisters; Dorothy (Charles) Hawthorne, Shirley Adams, Ashia Triplett, aunt; Mary Washington, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He is predeceased by both parents; son; Antonio Tate, two grandchildren,  sisters; Denise McKinney, Diane Thomas, Kathy Lloyd, and Barbara Thomas, and Uncle; George White.

Service will be 11:00 am Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Hope Fellowship Church 1135 E. State St. Rockford, IL Visitation is 9:00 am until the time of service. Burial in Willwood Burial Park.
