Mae A. Lockhart of Rockford departed this earthly life October 12, 2021. She was born December 14, 1946 in Rockford the daughter of Frank and Annie Stewart. Mae was employed as a Certified Nurses Assistant. She was a member of Rivers of Living Waters Church.  Mae graduated from West High School

Mae leaves to cherish many loving memories, mother Annie Boykin; daughter, Donia Lockhart; two sons, Anthony Lockhart and Clinton Lockhart; 14 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren;  Three siters, Mary Ann Ellis, Betty Pumphrey, and Lovie Stewart ; two brothers, LaVertis Stewart and Howard Boykin; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father; and sister Gloria Vines.

Services will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, October  22, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc.200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service. .
