Mahogany E'Lise Smith of Rockford departed this earthly life May 15, 2022. She was born August 17, 2000 in Rockford the daughter of Tennile Young and Earl Smith II. Mahogany graduated from Auburn High School and was attending Asis Massage Education.

Mahogany leaves to cherish many loving memories, her parents, Earl Smith II and Tennile Young; two sisters, Katie Thompson and Journiee Smith; three brothers, D'onte Smith, Cartese Smith, and Nathan Thompson; maternal grandparents Lynn E. Williams and Willie Earl Young; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by two sister, Angel Curry and Annaiya Miller; paternal grand parents, Alexia Fletcher and Earl Smith Sr.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at St. Paul Church of God in Christ 1001 Bishop Washington Ave. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc 200 N. Johnston Ave.
