Mamie B. Campbell of Rockford departed this earthly life November 21, 2023. She was born February 13, 1937 in Ripley, TN the daughter of Carrie Sue Crook. Mamie lived in Rockford since 1953 coming from Ripley. She married John B.W. Campbell, he preceded her in death. Mamie was employed as a custodian by Rockford Public Schools over 35 years before retiring. Mamie was a member of Greater Great New Fellowship Church of God In Christ, serving as a mother. She attended schools in Ripley, TN.

Mamie leaves to cherish many memories, four grandchildren Mickella Campbell, Tara Highsmith, Latasha Campbell and Reico Williams; and five great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband; two sons, Redd B.W. Campbell and Tyres Campbell and daughter Gloria Campbell.

Service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023 at Greater Great New Fellowship COGIC 2610 S. 5th Street. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
