Marcus Alfonso Mayweather of Rockford departed this earthly life December 20, 2020. He was born September 25, 1964 the son of Alfonso and Mapleine Mayweather. Marcus graduated from Guilford High School.

Marcus leaves to cherish many loving memories, his daughter, Sandreanna Smith; mother Mapleine; sister, Tamara (Ricardo) Taylor; Victor Mayweather and Danny Urgehart; a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Alfonso.

Moving visitation will be held Wednesday,  December 30, 2020 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave 4:00 p.m. until 6:00p.m. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Private services will be held at Thursday 10:00 a.m.  at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. which may be viewed via our face book page at 12:00 noon.
