Melba Catina "Tina" Holland of Durant, MS departed this earthly life December 13, 2021. She was born July 17, 1972 in Rockford, IL the daughter of Clarence and Jeanie Holland. Melba lived in Durant, MS 15 years after relocating from Rockford. She was a former member of Kishwaukee Church of Christ and attended Westside Church of Christ. Melba attended Auburn High School.

Melba leaves to cherish many loving memories, two sons, Ivory and Ivan Holland; two daughters, Janell Holland and Jazman Greer; 16 grandchildren; mother, Jeanie Holland Jenkins; companion of many years; Joe Shine; three brothers, Dion Holland,  Jeffery Walker, and Jason Gagliano; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father.

Services will be held 11:00a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
