Monica Rose "Momo" Vaughan, of Rockford departed this earthly life July 13, 2022. She was born November 18, 1968 in Rockford the daughter of Hosie and Rosie Vaughan. Monica was employed as a cook by River Bluff Nursing Home and also employed in the music industry before becoming ill.  She graduated from Auburn High School class of 1986 and received her Associates Degree.

Monica leaves to cherish many loving memories, two brothers, Gerald Vaughan and Tracy (Jackie) Vaughan; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including her god daughter, Salena Cross. She was predeceased by her parents.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
