Natisha R. “Nunu” Barnes, of Rockford departed this earthly life June 24, 2026 in Madison, WI. She was born June 13, 1985 in Rockford the daughter of Mary Barnes and Gilbert McDonald. Natisha loved to play cards, scratch of lottery tickets and play slot machines. She attended Jefferson High School.

Natisha leaves to cherish many loving memories, her two sons, Latavious and Latreveon Stephens; mother, Mary Barnes and father Gilbert McDonald; two sisters, Ashley Tucker and Tiffany Barnes; maternal grandmother, Fannie Barnes and paternal grandmother, Jewel McDonald; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends including special friends, Loretta Cauthen and Edward . She was predeceased by two brothers, Edward Tolon and Kenneth Grimes.
