Nellie Juanita "Puddin" Henry, of Rockford departed this earthly life August 14, 2021. She was born December 6, 1960 in Greenville, MS the daughter of Ophelia Thompson and Willie McNeal. Nellie lived in Rockford since November of 1981 coming from Jonesboro, Arkansas. She married Billie Ray Henry Sr; December 6, 1985, he preceded her in death.  Nellie was a member of Mt Goshen Full Gospel Church, 23 years serving as the pastors aid and a Deaconess. She attended schools in Arkansas.

Nellie leaves to cherish many loving memories, three daughters, Denella Henry, Elaine (Gladston) Dussard and Mashawna Jones; son, Billie Ray Henry Jr;  sisters, Annie Mae Scales, Teresa Maeri, Julia (Charles) Branch and Barbara J. Boyce; two brothers Wilbert (Lee) Thompson and Pastor Joseph (Gwendolyn) Valliant Jr; sister in law, Sarah Gardner a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents and husband.

Services will be held  11:00 a.m. Friday, August 27, 2021 at Christian Faith Center 3312 Harrison Ave. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. -
