Nettie Joyce Croft of Rockford departed this earthly life April 23, 2026. She was born July 4, 1951 in Rockford, IL  the daughter of James Sr. and Fannie Croft. Nettie was employed in maintenance by Warner Lambert and as a flagger by Palumbo Bros. She was a member of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church, serving in the choir and you could find her helping where ever it was needed. Nettie was a former bowler and softball player.

Nettie leaves to cherish many loving memories, her son, Micheal Croft;  daughter, Nicole Croft; one grandson, Adam Croft; four sisters, Sharon Croft, Mary K. Croft, Paulette Croft and Sandra Croft; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; two sisters, Dorothy Clark and Janice Croft; five brothers, James Croft Jr., Robert Croft, Larry Croft Sr., Ollie Williams and Donald Croft.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday May 4, 2026 at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church 4615 Auburn St. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
