Olanders "Lamb" Butler, of Rockford departed this earthly life September 12, 2024. He was born May 20, 1958 in Durant, MS the son of Phillip and Ellen Butler. Olanders lived in Rockford since 1989 coming from Durant. He married Emma Roby, March 26, 1986. Olanders was employed as a laborer in construction. He was a former member of West Hill C.M.E. Church. Olanders attended Durant Separate School.

Olanders leaves to cherish many loving memories, two daughters, Yolander Butler and Marqueta "Patty" Butler; three grandchildren; Terrence Griffin-Butler, Cedric Dale and Lyric Griffin-Butler; two brothers, William (Nikki) Butler and Jesse (Regina) Butler; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends including special nieces, Tasha Felton Williams and Tonya Felton. He was predeceased by his parents; grandson, Connor Hightower; sister, Dorothy Felton; and four brothers, Johnny C. Cook, Gaston Butler, Phillip Butler Jr., and Julius Butler.

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of service.
