Patricia L Taylor departed this earthly life, April 21, 2024.

She was the youngest of seven girls, born February 26, 1966, in Rockford, IL, to the union of Willie D. and Mary Francies Taylor.

Patricia (Trish) attended Macedonia Baptist Church and graduated from Auburn High School. She was very outgoing, loved to travel and was a lifelong learner.  After high school she attended OIC Vocational Institute in Rockford and earned her unit clerk and medical coding certifications, and then attended Rock Valley College to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Trish moved to Georgia when she was a young adult where she lived in Lithonia and Jonesboro for approximately 20 years. While in Georgia, Trish returned to school and earned her medical assistant certification from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA and worked in the health care industry.

Trish attended Berean Baptist Church, in South Fulton. She loved her church and was a faithful member. She worked in the office and other areas of the church and traveled with the church on several missionary trips. One of her favorite songs was, The Presence of the Lord is Here.

Trish enjoyed her life. She loved people and regularly checked in on you. She was not afraid or fearful. She traveled the world, going to Africa, Dubai, Belize, Jamaica, and other places. She lived in Illinois, Georgia, and Texas, and was not afraid to try new things or meet new people. She will be missed for her famous giggle, endless phone calls, and multiple social media pages.

Trish leaves many cherished and  loving memories to her children; Jennifer Taylor, Xavier McCoy-Taylor, Ayanna Taylor, 7 grandchildren; Je'Niya, Lazeric, Serenity, Sy'Mya, Paige, Isaiah, and Dion, 6 sisters; Margret Tate (Georgia), Betty Turner (Mississippi), Mary Taylor -Gray(IL), Diane Taylor (IL), Rose (Curtis) Davis (CA), and Willie Mae Taylor (IL), and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and special friends April, Turana, Vanessa, Lynette, and Taniquia.

Trish was predeceased by her parents, Willie D and Mary Francies Taylor, Loving Stepfather, H.T. Allen, niece; Ulisa Cheairs, and nephew, Cory Burnell.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 11AM, Macedonia Baptist Church, 1720 Morgan Street, Rockford, IL 61102.
