Pearline "Pearl" McLin of Rockford departed this earthly life August 10, 2021. She was born July 1, 1931 in Athens, Alabama the daughter Jimmy Griffin and Frances Turner. Pearline lived in Rockford 64 years coming from Athens, Alabama. She married Isaac McLin in Athens, he preceded her in death. Pearline was employed in housekeeping by Rockford Memorial Hospital 15 years before retiring. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church formerly serving in the choir.  She attended schools in Athens, Alabama.

Pearline leaves to cherish many loving memories, her three daughters  Marilyn (John) Turner, Jacqueline (Ricky) Parks and Brenda McLin; five grandchildren, Tonya Kegler, Darnell McLin, Deon (Racquell) McLin, Isaac (Velma) Parks and Isaiah Parks; 9 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, son Isaac Jr; daughter Ivory Johnson; granddaughter, Arlisa Hardy; and five sisters.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home 200 N. Johnston Ave.  Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00a.m. until the time o f service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc.
