Richard N. "Dick" Robinson, of Rockford departed this earthly life September 18, 2024. He was born December 4, 1946 in Bolivar, TN the son of Willie Jane Brown. Richard lived in Rockford 57 years coming from Tennessee. He married the former Seretha Perry, August 26, 1967.  Richard was employed as a Utility Worker by Red Lobster 25 years before retiring. He was a former member of Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church.  Richard graduated from Bolivar Industrial School in Tennessee.

Richard leaves to cherish many loving memories, his wife Seretha; son, Ricky (Angela) Robinson; four daughters, Sheila, Pamela, Teresa (Paul) Jones and Andrea Robinson; 23 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; four sisters, Carrie (Wade) Jones, Janie Robinson, Mary Hunt and Martha Hunt; three brothers, Willie Irvin Robinson, Jackie and Donnie Taylor and Willie Earl Robinson; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his mother, Willie Jane Robinson; sister, Ernestine Lake; and brother, Robert Lee Taylor.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 4, 2024 at Greater New Hope Missionary Baptist Church 4615 Auburn St. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc.
