Ronald "Ron" Jones of Rockford departed this earthly life November 24, 2022. He was born September 19, 1962 in Chicago, IL the son of C.W. and Eva D. Jones. Ronald lived in Rockford 20 years, coming from Beloit, WI. He attended Chicago Public Schools.

Ronald leaves to cherish many loving memories, three daughters, Amanda Farrell, Jennifer (Corey) Jones and Julie Jones; six grandchildren,  Aaleyah, Ashari, Ahzanie, Emery Jr., Corey Jr., and Amarionna; and two great grandchildren; son, Ronald Jones Jr.; two sisters, Carolyn (Alvin) Pitts and Leneal Jones; brother, Ray (Ann) Liggins; aunts, Linda Stokes and Pamela Hill; a host of other relatives and friends including special friends, Sheri Smith and Jen Hirschmann. He was predeceased by his parents; and son, Angelo Jones. Special thanks to his niece, Danette Winters.

Services will be held 1:00 p.m.  Saturday, December 3, 2022 at Next Level Community Church  3844 Sandy Hollow Road Rockford, IL 61108. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home 200 N. Johnston Ave.
