Roscoe Levert "Rocky" Woods Jr. of Rockford departed this earthly life January 12, 2023. He was born April 26, 1965 in Rockford, IL the son of Roscoe Sr. and Eva Woods. Roscoe was employed as a custodian by Rockford Tool Craft. He attended Jefferson High School.

Roscoe leaves to cherish many loving memories, his parents, Eva Woods and Roscoe Sr. (Shirley) Woods; four sisters, Charlotte (Mike Saunders) Johnson, Valerie (Carl Leach) Woods, Michelle Woods and Kelya Woods; two step brothers, Timothy ( Tori ) Hubbard and Molander Hubbard; three nieces, Sophia (Brandon) Dixon, Martina (Brandon) Evans and Imani Saunders; four great nephews, Aquavion, Kemajion, Marcus and Brandon; special friend, Susie Edge; a host of other relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his Maternal grandparents, Joe Davis Johnson and Mamie Johnson and Paternal grandparents Joe Davis Woods and Rena Mae Woods.

Visitation will be held Saturday, January 21, 2023 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
