Rosemary Williams 68, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2026. She was born December 19, 1957, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to Benjamin Williams and Emma Davis. Rose was raised by her Aunt Ruby Robinson, whom she affectionately called “Mama”! In 1962, she moved with her family to Rockford, where she later graduated from East High School and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Rose continued her education and became a Private Duty Registered Nurse.

She leaves behind a son, Terrance Williams, and two grandchildren of Rockford IL, two brothers, Rubin (Mary) Williams, Olive Branch MS, Robert Williams, California; three sisters, Helen Williams, Dallas TX, Bennie J. Williams, Pine Bluff AK, Brenda Jordan, St. Louis MO, several nieces, nephews, friends, and acquaintances.

Predeceased by her parents, sister Linda Fay Jackson, Aunts Ruby Robinson “Mama” and Geneva Beard.

Services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
