Sharon Camille "Nicky" Ellis of Janesville, WI. departed this life May 10, 2024. She was born February 7, 1958 in Chicago, IL  the daughter of Rev. Walter F. Pittman and Lillian Ellis-Pittman. Sharon lived in Rockford over 50 years before relocating to Frankfort, Kentucky in 2009 recently moving to  Janesville in 2023. She was a self-employed child care provider at Nicky's Daycare over 50 years. Sharon was a former member of Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church and Seven Stars Church in Kentucky.

She attended Guilford High School and  later receive her G.E.D. also attending Rockford Business College.

Sharon leaves to cherish many loving memories, two sons, Bruce Ellis and Omar Ellis; daughter Kimberly Ellis; eight grandchildren; four sisters, Sheila, Kimberly and Karen Ellis and Robin (Reginald) Pearson;  two brothers, Patrick (Sylvia) Ellis and Kevin ( Angie) Ellis; two sisters in law, Gloria Ellis and Bonnie Fuzzell a host of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends, including special friends, Thelma Hardy, Patricia Valentine, Heather Thomas and Louis Dotson. She was predeceased by her parents; three brothers Kenneth, Timothy, Ansari "Anthony" and Michael Ellis.

Memorial Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, May 31, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Doors will be open from 12 noon until the time of service.
