Shaun Michael Tatum of Rockford departed this earthly life July 23, 2022. He was born August 24, 1993 in Rockford the son of Tisia Tatum and William Parson. Shaun was employed as a machine operator by Campbells Foods in Beloit, WI . He attended Jefferson High School.

Shaun leaves to cherish many loving memories, his parents, Tisia and William; sister, Courtney Parson and three brothers, Deauntae (Judy) Tatum, William Parson III and Aidan Parson; paternal grandmother Brenda (Jerry) Hall; aunt Dominique Tatum; two uncles Kelvin Tatum and Clarence Tatum Jr. and Scott Parson; nieces and nephews, Jaia, Jaell and Jarell Williams Jr., and De'Naro and Dallas Tatum; a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Betty Tatum and Clarence Tatum Sr; paternal grandfather, William Parson Sr.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Faith Walkers Assembly International 410 8th Street. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
