Shinkie Rosette Duncan,  of Rockford departed this earthly life January 20, 2022. She was born May 13, 1983 in Rockford the daughter of James and Robin Turner.  Shinkie was employed as a machine operator  by Amazon; also as an self-employed hairstylist. She graduated from Auburn High School class of 2001 and graduated from Rockford Business College with her Associates Degree in Accounting.

Shinkie leaves to cherish many loving memories; her two sons, Almarion Bell and Xzavier Anderson; parents, Robin and James; two brothers, Nathaniel Nevlis and Nashawn Nevlis; four sisters, Natasha Duncan, Jasmine (Demarcus) Evans, Kashayla Turner and Jalisa Turner; paternal grandmother, Martha Rogers; companion of many years, Racheal Francis; a host of other relatives and friends.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 5, 2022 at Providence Baptist Church 2209 Clifton Ave. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
