Susan Cozzetter Richardson-Parchmon of Rockford departed this earthly life February 3, 2026. She was born July 11, 1951 in Bradford, TN the daughter of James and Lela Armstrong. Susan lived in Rockford over 50 years coming from Lansing, Michigan. She married Calvin Parchmon, September 9, 2022. She was employed as a Packer by PCI over 30 before becoming disabled. Susan was a member of State Street Church of Christ. She was a member of the bingo community. Susan graduated from Greenfield High School.

Susan leaves to cherish many loving memories; her husband Calvin Parchmon; daughter, Sherri Armstrong; three sons, William "Robert" (Felisa) Armstrong, Terry Armstrong and Rodney Armstrong; 26 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends including her god sister and bingo buddy, Linda Bryant-Mills; special niece who she loved like a daughter, Tracy King. She was predeceased by her parents; son, Christopher Armstrong; four brothers, James Armstrong, Charles Armstrong,  William Armstrong and Robert Armstrong Sr;  and one sister Pearl Armstrong.

Services will be held 1:00p.m. Friday, February 20, 2026 at  Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Visitation 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
