Tasha " Obama" Lynette Manning, of Rockford departed this earthly life November 22, 2024. She was born January 1, 1976 in Rockford the daughter of Dianne Manning and Alfred Young Jr.Tasha was a member of El Shaddai Worship Assembly. She attended Auburn High School.

Tasha leaves to cherish many loving memoires, her daughter, Shanta Manning; son, Dezha Manning; six grandchildren, Za'vion Manning, Zaria Sallis, De'Kyra Manning, De'Kyia Manning, De'Kevion Bryant and Dezha Manning; mother, Dianne Manning; sister, Tina Manning and brother, Anyon Howard; a host of nieces, nephews cousins and friends including special friends, Tasha Simmons and Francis Colon; special aunt Delores Manning; special cousin, DeErik Manning. She was predeceased by her father, Alfred Young Jr., and brother, Freddrick D. Manning.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave. Burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
