Teresa Renee Jackson, of Rockford departed this earthly life October 16, 2021. She was born September 18, 1962 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Eddie Jackson Jr. and Essie Mae Jackson. Teresa was employed as a microfilmer by Lawson Products Incorporated for over 20 years. She was born and raised in the House of God in Chicago, later to become a member of the House of God Church in Rockford, serving as Head Musician, Youth Coordinator, Missionary president and Deaconess. Teresa attended Proviso East High School in Maywood, IL.

Teresa leaves to cherish many loving memories, father, Eddie Jackson, Jr; brother, Thaddeus Jackson; two sisters, Carmen (Adewale) Omotosho and Sonji (Kenneth) Collins; three nieces, Nadia, Amira and Chloe and nephew Adeyemi; great nephew, Easton; and aunt, Mamie Burks; a host of other relatives and friends including numerous god children who she loved. She was predeceased by her mother, Essie Mae Jackson; and brother Eddie Jackson III.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 22, 2021 at Christian Growth Center 3730 Guilford Road, Rockford, IL 61107. Burial in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
