Theressa G. Green of Rockford departed this earthly life Saturday, September 17, 2022. She was born May 4, 1936, in Decatur, IL the daughter Robert Moore and Ruth Garrison. Theressa lived in Rockford most of her life coming from Decatur. She married Raymond Green August 31, 1991, in Decatur, IL. Theressa was employed as a Supervising Inspector by Amerock 36 years before retiring. She was a member of Browns Temple Church of God In Christ serving as the head nurse. She attended schools in Decatur and Rockford, later receiving her G.E.D. and attended Rock Valley College.

Theressa leaves to cherish many loving memories, her husband Raymond; two sons, Gregory (Felicia) Bedford and Clyde Bedford Jr; two daughters, Debra Bedford and Donna Bedford; 13 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and sister, Shirley Thompson; a host of other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; son, Mark Bedford; granddaughters, Shellin and Mercedes Chandler; and sister, Ann Elliott.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022 at Browns Temple Church of God In Christ 2806 W. State St.  Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
