Thomas Ray Zachery of Rockford departed this earthly life January 11, 2026. He was born October 16, 1947 in Prescott, Arkansas the son of John and Ruby Zachery. Thomas lived in Rockford since 1966 coming from Prescott.  He married the former Linda Mims, August 21, 1971 she preceded him in death. Thomas was employed as a Tool and Die Maker by W.A. Whitney over 20 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in the Vietnam War. Thomas was a member of State Street Church of Christ. He graduated from McRae High School and attended Rock Valley College.

Thomas leaves to cherish many loving memories, his daughter, Erika Zachery; two sons, Jason (Alicia) Zachery and Randall (Seneca) Zachery; seven grandchildren, Brendon (Kylia), Jaylen, Zion (Takoa), Jason Jr., Randall Jr., Jaden, and Lauren; four great grandchildren, Tamara, Xiomara, Arleigh and Kyrie; brother, Robert Lewis; a host of other relatives and friends, including special friend, Dorothy Duckett. He was predeceased by his parents.

Services will be held 12:00 noon Friday, January 23, 2026 at State Street Church of Christ. Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
