Tracey Michel "Lady T" Brown of Rockford, IL departed this earthly life July 26, 2023. She was born July 28, 1967 in Rockford the daughter of Melvin and Melba Brown. Tracey was employed over 25 years as an Certified Nurses Assistant by PA Peterson Nursing Home,  Mercy Heath at Javon Bea Hospital and Swedish American Hospital. She graduated from Auburn High School.

Tracey leaves to cherish many loving memories, son, David (Donda) Coleman Jr. and daughter, Chasity (Jonathan) Newton; seven grandchildren; Zymere, Chance, Zariyah, Zavarion, Josiah, Romance, and Jonathan Jr; sister, Kimberly Brown; and brother Jeffery (Tonita) Brown; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends, including companion of many years, David Coleman Sr. She was predeceased by her parents; and sister, Deborah Brown-Barbary.

Services will be held 1:00 pm. Saturday,  August 12, 2023 at Soar Assembly 604 Salter Ave. Visitation will be held 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Arrangements completed by Carl E. Ponds Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.
