Tyres Augusta Campbell of  Rockford departed this earthly life November 13, 2022. He was born October 18, 1953 in Ripley, TN the son of John and Mamie Campbell. Tyres live most of his life in Rockford coming from Ripley, TN. He married the former Debra Caldwell, December 10, 1973; she preceded him in death. Tyres was employed as an expediter by Barber Coleman Industries many years before becoming ill.  He was a member of the Brothers Motorcycle Club and competed in Karate. He graduated from Auburn High School class of 1972.

Tyres leaves to cherish many loving memories, daughter, Tara (Derrick) Highsmith Sr.; and son, Alexander Griffis; a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; mother, Mammie Campbell; a host of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by father, wife; daughter, Desa Floyd; sister, Gloria Campbell and brother, B.W. Campbell.

Memorial services will be held  12:00 noon until 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 27, 2022 at St. Ambrogio Society 802 Montague Street. Rockford, IL 61102
