Verlean "Lean" Parchmon, of Rockford departed this earthly life November 7, 2024. She was born April 3, 1956 in Haynes, Arkansas the daughter of Henry and Flourine Parchmon. Verlean lived in Rockford since 1979 coming from Forest City, Arkansas.  She was employed as a Rehabilitation Nurse by Park Strathmoor Nursing Home 25 years. Verlean graduated from Lee Senior High School, in Marianna, Arkansas, and attended Rock Valley College receiving her nursing certification.

Verlean leaves to cherish many loving memories, her daughter, Mechelle Parchmon; two sons, Derrick Parchmon and Damarculus Parchmon; two grandchildren, Syncere Parchmon and Eliyah Parchmon; three brothers, Verlon "Sonny" (Gloria) Parchmon, Calvin (Susan) Parchmon and Jerry (Sadie) Parchmon; a host of nieces, nephews cousins other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her  parents; five sisters, Essie Mae Parchmon, Linda Mae Parchmon, Elnora Austin, Tylee Parchmon and Lizzie Mae Parchmon; four brothers, Jimmy Parchmon, Edward Parchmon, Eddie B. Parchmon, and Lee Henry Parchmon.

Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2024 at  Carl E. Funeral Home Inc. 200 N. Johnston Ave.  Burial in Cedar Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
